DISCO responds to the new-type influenza (swine influenza) occurrence (update)

At this moment, the new type of swine flu virus-derived influenza is continuing to spread worldwide, and on June 11 the World Health Organization (WHO) raised the WHO phase of pandemic alert to 6, indicating that a global pandemic is under way. In order to minimize the impact to our business and all stakeholders, DISCO Corporation has established the pandemic countermeasures office (Office head: Kazuma Sekiya, President and COO), officially announced the pandemic level 1*1, and the following measures have already been taken.
Since the new type influenza this time has an attenuated virulence, measures mainly taken are for employees and their families to thoroughly maintain their health. In addition, DISCO headquarters and plants are operating as usual, and our production line as well as the material supply lines necessary for the production are in normal operation.
