Impact of the Kumamoto Prefecture Earthquakes on DISCO (1st report)
At 09:26 p.m. on April 14 (Thursday), Kumamoto Prefecture was the epicenter of an earthquake. The region is still experiencing multiple tremors since the initial earthquake.
We would like to express our deepest sympathies for everyone who was affected by the earthquake and subsequent tremors.
This notice has been issued to inform you of DISCO’s current situation.
Kyushu Office (Kumamoto Prefecture, Kumamoto City)
The DISCO Kyushu Office is open for business and is accepting inquiries.
We have confirmed the safety of all of the employees in the Kyushu Office.
Other DISCO Affiliates
All DISCO affiliates, including the head office and Hiroshima Works, are operating as per usual.
These events have had no impact on DISCO’s precision processing equipment and precision processing tool shipments from Hiroshima Works. However, due to logistics related circumstances, shipments bound for some areas in the Kyushu region may be impacted.
