DISCO Corporation’s U.S affiliate, DISCO Hi-Tec America, Inc. (DHA), is looking to expand our Equipment Engineering/Field Service Engineering team! We are currently looking for people who bring fresh perspectives, new ideas, and unique skills to join us as a Bilingual Field Service Engineer English and Korean or Madarin in the Chandler, AZ area.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Job Type: Bilingual Korean and English speaking Engineer, English speaking
Location: Training may take place in Korea or Taiwan for approximately one year. Upon completion of training, the position will be based in Northern Phoenix, Arizona.
Salary: 55k - 65k annually + various discretionary bonus opportunities

This is a full time position with benefits including Bonuses, Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life), Healtth Savings Account, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair DISCO grinding, dicing, and laser equipment at customer sites, ensuring top-tier performance and customer satisfaction. Independently diagnose complex issues through rigorous electrical/mechanical procedural sequences.
• Document analytical steps and root causes for internal teams and customers.
• Foster strong customer relationships to provide reliable support onsite and offsite, including possible training of customers' personnel in servicing, maintenance, and operations of DISCO products.
• Work with cutting-edge robotics, cameras, electrical motor components, and sophisticated software.
• Participate in DISCO corporate activities focusing on deeper thinking, value exchange, and constant improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in any discipline preferred.
• Strong aptitude for electro-mechanical repair, with the ability to troubleshoot and fix intricate systems.
• Familiarity with lab instrumentation, CAD drawings, electrical diagrams, MS Office, and general computer programming.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processes, lasers fundamentals, optics fundamentals, or semiconductor industrial engineering and operation is a plus.
• Military experiences are welcome.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean or Chinese.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move up to 30 lbs. and work in varied physical positions to access hard-to reach areas on our equipment.
• Wear personal protective gear for extended periods during on-site work.

Interpersonal Skills

• Clear, concise, and effective communication skills to interact with colleagues, customers, and leadership.
• A high degree of self-motivation and creativity, with the ability to perform under pressure, even in challenging situations.

Job Title: Customer Engineer
Job Type: This position will require limited local travel between our office in Rio Rancho, NM and nearby customer sites
Location: Rio Rancho, NM

General Position Summary

The key responsibilities of the Sales Engineer position are to increase both sales of DISCO products and overall customer satisfaction by approaching and working with new and current customers to find suitable DISCO products and processes to fit their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships by visiting sites, promoting products, providing technical support, and proposing improvements.
• Manage sales activities including quotations, application support, sales reports, forecasting, and communication with both U.S teams and HQ in Japan.
• Gain expertise in DISCO’s consumables, in house technologies, and processes to deliver effective solutions and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate across departments and contribute to corporate initiatives that drive innovation, knowledge sharing, and sustainable growth.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Title: General Accountant
Location: San Jose, CA (onsite)
Salary: 60k - 100k annually + various discretionary bonus opportunities

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for daily general ledgers and journal entries
• Check data accuracy and update for general accounting
• Process monthly and year end closings, preparing and participating in internal and external audits
• Support Accounts Payable tasks
• Responsible for using Excel to analyze and report financial figures to managers upon requests
• Assist with DISCO internal managerial accounting tasks (WILL)
• Participate, contribute, and handle various DISCO corporate activities focusing on deeper thinking, value exchange, and constant improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned an a member of the Operations department
• Assist in reporting financial statements to HQ in Japan
• Troubleshoot independently through logistical sequences
• Work with the payroll team and accounting team to ensure escalated payroll issues are resolved promptly
• Collaborate with HR and Payroll team
• Help to prepare required tax filings and other reporting
• Report to accounting manager

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of general accounting, with background and experience in Accounts Payable as a must
• Detail-Oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Flexible, open minded individual who seeks for continuous improvement of tasks
• Strong analyzation and problem solving skills
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Proficiency in Japanese is a plus
• Understand payroll state compliance

Education and Experience

• 5+ years of corporate accounting experience with payroll knowledge
• Must have experience working in a fast-paced, growing company with over 200 employees
• High Proficiency of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in manufacturing or similar industry is a plus
• CPP is a plus
• Processing/analyzing payroll and understands state tax compliance
