Introduction
DISCO HI-TEC (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD was established in 1984 by its founding company from Japan, DISCO CORPORATION. Being the head office of and expanding into the SEA region, we have 9 affiliate Sales and Support offices located in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and India.
DISCO’s role is to advance Kiru (cutting), Kezuru (grinding), Migaku (polishing) technologies by applying them to practical applications and providing solutions in these fields. Our mission is to passionately pursue this important role in society.
We serve as the affiliate company of DISCO CORPORATION, Japan in overseeing the Southeast Asia market. Over the years, we have expanded the group to Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and India. Currently, we have over 300 employees under DHS Group.
One Stop Solution Center
We invite our customers, especially new start up companies with limited resources who requires KKM services and consultation to our One Stop Solution Center.
With customer in DHS using our equipment to process wafers, and currently since 2020 we had Yamaha Motor set up their wire bonders and die bonders (2022) to support customer in process after dicing. Additionally, with the encapsulation process capability in plan, our customers will be able to benefit from the shorter turn around time for packaging their semiconductor devices.
Refurbishment
Quality of used DISCO equipment in the 2nd hand market is low and customer faced problems after transacting with 3rd party vendors.
Involvement in Equipment refurbishment allow us to learn more about the market demand. We are also able to assist customers to transit to newer equipment, extending their existing equipment shelf life and retiring their existing equipment according to their process needs.
With the mixture of equipment model, retrofitting requirements and upgrading of machine functions, it also serves as a good training ground for our Engineers.
The above also brought in synergy in resources allocation and increases the value exchange within our customers and internal members.
Company D&D
Annual Dinner & Dance events are held in efforts to boost bonding amongst all employees across departments and to have a fun kickstart to every year! Lucky draw events and door gifts for all, are also included in D&D events.
