DISCO HI-TEC (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD was established in 1984 by its founding company from Japan, DISCO CORPORATION. Being the head office of and expanding into the SEA region, we have 9 affiliate Sales and Support offices located in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and India.
DISCO’s role is to advance Kiru (cutting), Kezuru (grinding), Migaku (polishing) technologies by applying them to practical applications and providing solutions in these fields. Our mission is to passionately pursue this important role in society.
We serve as the affiliate company of DISCO CORPORATION, Japan in overseeing the Southeast Asia market. Over the years, we have expanded the group to Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and India. Currently, we have over 300 employees under DHS Group.
At DISCO, we believe that what our customers really want is not just the product itself, but the processing results that are derived from using our products as a means. With this in mind, we provide our customers with the best processing results through our cumulated knowledge of Kiru (cutting), Kezuru (grinding) and Migaku (polishing) technologies.
DISCO is also acutely aware of all semiconductor players’ processing requirements and concerns with regards to market changes. This is why DISCO offers our in-house dicing and grinding service as a means for our customers to cope with unexpected market trends.
Our service, termed as “KKM Service”, can be utilised for product development and small lot productions.

DISCO Hi-Tec Singapore’s training centre, termed “KKM Hub”, offers comprehensive training for authorized end-users of DISCO equipment. Based in Singapore, we also provide support to customers in Southeast Asia, India, Australia & New Zealand.
The quality of used DISCO equipment in the second-hand market is low, and customers have faced problems after transacting with third-party vendors.
Involvement in equipment refurbishment allows us to learn more about market demand. We are also able to assist customers in transitioning to newer equipment, extending the shelf life of their existing equipment, and retiring their equipment according to their process needs.
With the mixture of equipment models, retrofitting requirements, and upgrading of machine functions, this also serves as a good training ground for our engineers.
The above also brings synergy in resource allocation and increases the value exchange between our customers and internal members.
