The phrase "Always the best, Always fun" refers to the pursuit of the very best under any circumstance and to each employee striving for perfection with a sense of professionalism, while at the same time making sure not to forget to fully enjoy work. DISCO thinks that proactively pursing having fun leads to better results at work, while also producing happiness both during our time at work and within our personal lives.

Will

DISCO's unique individual managerial accounting system, "Will Accounting"

Will Accounting is DISCO’s unique managerial accounting system. In this system, accounts are managed by calculating the monetary value of operations, services, supplies, etc. using Will (internal currency). This system, called "Personal Will Accounting," is applied to each employee. Each individual manages their own balance. Through visualization facilitated by their Will balance, employees can see their own performance objectively and quantitatively.
Under this Will system, jobs are not something assigned by a boss but instead are chosen by employees of their own initiative. In other words, they can design their job (career) of their own “will.” In addition, a portion of the bonus is linked to employees’ monthly Will balance, with the bonus increasing in response to a higher Will balance. Through these systems, Will also contributes significantly to the improvement of employee satisfaction.

PIM

PIM, a mechanism for continuous evolution to make our organization stronger

PIM (Performance Innovation Management) is DISCO's unique business improvement activity. After visualizing an ideal state within daily operations, we identify an index or target value for getting closer to that state. We are continually evolving our work by changing our methods based on kizuki (“lightbulb” moments) obtained by observing the gaps between the values measured daily and the previously identified target values.
DISCO aims to be an unshakably strong company, even when buffeted by the waves of drastic change in the business environment, through PIM activities performed by affiliate offices all over the world regardless of job description or rank within the company.

One-on-one presentation battles with winners decided through Will-based voting by employees

Implemented improvements are presented in one-minute PIM presentation battles against other departments. Employees use will to vote on the winners and losers. In this system, employees make their presentation in front of a large number of other employees and have the chance to obtain a large amount of Will based on the result. Through this system, we aim to encourage participation in PIM activities and continuously generate high-quality improvements.
The number of official PIM matches is about 4,800 per year.
