What is your current job scope and what do you see most valuable in it?
I handle inquiries related to "Design & Production Requests", which are requests from customers to confirm the feasibility of non-standard specifications and implement them if necessary. If a customer wants certain modifications done to their machines that are outside of our standard specifications, our team is able to hold discussions with on-site customer engineers, software engineers or sales engineers, and eventually convey the request to the DISCO Japan's R&D team for actual implementation. In this way, everyone works together to share information from all possible angles. This enables us to identify latent customer needs, leading to a better customer experience.
