Companywide Quality Policy

The Quality Policy is a part of DISCO VALUES – an ethos applied throughout the organization – and is the overarching principle of the Quality Management System.

Quality Policy
By achieving excellence in all of our corporate activities, our existence will be welcomed by our stakeholders and society.

The Quality Policy has the purpose of raising every aspect of DISCO’s corporate activities to the appropriate level, as a corporation that provides technology and services that become the international standard. The policy incorporates the satisfaction of the applicable requirements and the continual improvement of the quality management system.
Our aim as a result of this policy is to be welcomed by society and our stakeholders as a good corporate citizen and business partner.

Making the DISCO Quality Policy a Reality

To make the DISCO Quality Policy a reality, DISCO has created a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 that continuously measures progress in quality management goals while seeking to raise quality levels overall. Both departments directly and indirectly responsible for product and service quality are part of this system. Indirectly responsible departments seek to raise the quality of their output to the highest level, thereby allowing departments directly responsible to offer even higher quality to the customer. In addition, the same Quality Policy is in force at DISCO Group companies overseas, who also receive ISO 9001 certification and engage in continuous quality improvement.

Partnership with IRCA (International Register of Certificated Auditors)

IRCA

In July 2017, DISCO and IRCA* (International Register of Certificated Auditors) entered a partnership for auditor evaluation registration. Upon beginning this partnership, IRCA recognized the effectiveness of DISCO's quality internal audits.
Through this partnership, DISCO will receive IRCA international standards education and human resource development support while training internal quality auditors who have global perspective. As a result, we can improve the reliability of DISCO's quality management system, which will make it possible to offer higher level products and services.

* IRCA (International Register of Certificated Auditors) is the world's largest international registration body of auditors for management system standards such as ISO.
